220.127.116.11. Maintenance Instructor Qualification. Maintenance instructors shall have at least 3 years prior experience in the T-6A and shall hold US, European Air and Safety Administration (EASA) or other national level certification as maintenance instructors in their tasked area of instruction e.g. aviation maintenance technician instructors (AMT aka "A&P) and aviation electronics technician (AET aka "Avionics) instructors. U.S. maintenance instructors shall be FAA certified (A&P mechanics), and/or National Center for Aerospace and Transportation Technologies (NCATT) certified. If applicable, Nondestructive Testing (NDT) instructors shall hold U.S. American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II or higher, or equivalent foreign CAA certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Work is normally performed on and off the airfield.
- Limited physical effort required with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Physical ability and flexibility to perform a routine pilot instructor role.
- Employee will be required to work and live in a potentially hostile environment, at remote locations, and under austere conditions.
