Small Unmanned Aircraft System (SUAS) Master Trainer, MidKey Role:

Provide Initial Qualification Training (IQT) for DoD Small Unmanned Aircraft System (SUAS) acquisition programs. Assist with obtaining and maintaining SUAS Master Trainer status for designated Army personnel. Operate within a System Safety Management Plan, and perform duties as mandated by a flight operations and ground operations guide. Participate and conduct mission briefings, create and submit flight plans, including airspace and land request.  Maintain responsibility of SUAS multi-platform currency requirement as required by the original equipment manufacturers (OEM), military, unit and specific location requirements. Operate within the requirements of applicable flight regulations to plan and analyze flight mission. Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned by the site manager.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with the US Military

-4+ years of experience in leading US military training

-Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems

-Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Active Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-SUAS Master Trainer V2 Certified

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in a combat or combat advisor role

-Experience with integrating live, virtual, constructive, and gaming warfighting training

-Experience in conducting After Action Reviews (AAR)

-Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) qualified or equivalent

-AA or AS degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, or Operations or BA or BS degree in Aviation, Aerospace or Unmanned Aircraft System or Operations

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
