Job Description

Position Description: This position has a dual role of both a Product Manager and as an Agile Coach. You will start off as an Agile Coach within the ITO Services Journey and transition into a Product Manager. As an Agile Coach, you will coach Service teams often implementing this new methodology for the first time. Meaning, that in addition to coaching you will be driving organizational change. The goal of an Agile Coach is to improve Service teams and overall project management by increasing collaboration, innovation, and introducing Agile techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility. As a Product Manager you will lead Service teams by managing the team"s backlog, facilitate team agile ceremonies and foster a collaborative atmosphere. You will also work with Service and Product Integration teams on common integration disciplines, process, best practices and techniques for executing large scale development plans. ----Position Duties---- Product Manager - Develop and communicate the project vision and roadmap - Understand and support portfolio work - Manage and prioritize the flow of work - Participate in Program release and increment planning - Manage project-level issues, risks and schedules - Utilize Project Management methodologies, processes and tools Educate and Coach Colleagues - Provide training sessions and teach valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies Mentor Service and Product Team - Guiding teams into the Agile methodology - Catalyzing organizational growth and answering questions - Providing hands-on support and collaborating with team members across widely varying levels and roles - Leading teams toward further understanding and adoption of Agile Implement Agile Methodology - Implementing Agile process, principles and practices - Using techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency

Skills Required: Qualifications -------------- As both a strong leader and advocate for the adoption of Agile, you must be assertive about adherence to Agile processes and enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits. You are a service and product manager you are both an educator and coach, and thus must possess great interpersonal skills, teaching abilities, and a capacity to inspire and motivate. In order to stay ahead, you must be self-taught, and they must constantly be updating your skills and continuously learning.

Required Skills --------------- - Strong knowledge of and background with Agile concepts - Teaching and coaching skills - Experience using CA Rally - Strong oral and written communication skills - Proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple assignments Skills Preferred: N/A Experience Required: Qualifications -------------- As both a strong leader and advocate for the adoption of Agile, you must be assertive about adherence to Agile processes and enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits.
