Open Source Instructor
Leverage expertise in working with intelligence systems to develop and deliver classroom and e-learning training on intelligence systems. Instruct, evaluate, and counsel students in the legal and operational concepts of open source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis. Serve as a senior OSINT analyst and training SME. Assist with course development and the production of OSINT training materials. Assess and analyze commercial off the shelf (COTS) technologies and solutions commonly associated with DoD intelligence analysis. Provide OSINT analysis and training for Army Commands, Forces, and Combatant Commands to support ongoing intelligence operations. Support mobile training team (MTT) operations for the Army. This position will require the ability to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
-5+ years of experience with conducting open source research, all-source intelligence analysis, or intelligence collection
-Experience with accessing, researching, and exploiting global and regional social media and digital platforms
-Knowledge of advanced Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, advanced research techniques, search engine and database resources, and Internet sources, including social media, social networking tools, and commercial and industry-based databases
-Ability to employ behavioral and technical research methodologies and tradecraft and brief client leadership and colleagues on results of research succinctly
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and speak sufficiently and appropriately to instruct students on complicated subject matter
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-Completion of the Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC) or equivalent
-Experience as a facilitator in a formal training environment preferred
-Experience with a Combatant Command's program of instruction development, including testing, evaluation, and QA or QC of training materials
-BA or BS degree preferred
-Completion of approved intelligence community, DoD, or Army OSINT training, including BOSIC, OS301, OS302, OS401, CASO, or equivalent
