Required to develop and support training of MWD program.
Provide instruction to students in the handler-training course.
Responsible for training of assigned assets.
Assist in the selection of MWDs.
Responsible for maintaining records, paperwork, and electronic database of all aspects of the training program (i.e. Customers, DoD forms and publications, records)
Responsible for the care and scheduling medical services of all assigned MWDs.
May provide sanitation and upkeep of kennel facility and training aids/materials.
Required to coordinate training areas, locations, times, and facilities.
Required to attend training seminars/courses to improve personal knowledge.
Required to prepare and/or give presentations and briefings as needed.
Must possess thorough knowledge of weapons, firearms, safety, explosives, and other hazardous or contamination devices/environments.
Contractor will possess an understanding of unique customer TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures).
Contractor will possess a thorough understanding of U.S. Army safety policies and regulations.
Contractor is required to qualify for and receive a range certification card IAW XVIII Abn Corps and Ft Bragg, Regulation 350-6.
Contractor will be required to operate Government vehicles.
Some duties require a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
Must be a graduate of a Military Training/Canine Course or civilian equivalent.
Must be certified HAZ-11/HAZ-12 or equivalent training.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the Dutch Royal Police Dog Program (KNPV).
