Deliver in-resident and distributed learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Use instructional technology, including Blackboard. Conduct assessment strategy in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, and grading. Provide formal and informal student feedback. Provide subject matter expertise throughout the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Apply experience with developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations and expertise in aeronautics and aeronautical analysis.
-Experience with analyzing and exploiting worldwide aeronautical source and imagery in support of safety of navigation and national intelligence goals and requirements
-Experience with the databases and products that contain current navigation and intelligence information
-Experience with international certification standards to ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of data and products
-Experience as an instructor and trainer in GEOINT and in one of the following areas: civilian or military work as an air traffic controller, flight dispatcher, flight or ground school instructor, mission planner, aeronautical information specialist, Terminal En-route Procedural Specialist (TERPS), or other field which provided an understanding of air navigation principles, operations, publications, and airspace and airfield infrastructure and operating procedures
-Experience in a government operating environment with the IC, DoD, NGA, NSG, and ASG
-Knowledge of the application of GIS and analysis of geospatial data to solve intelligence problems that may face the DoD or the intelligence community
-Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and learning
-Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam
-BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience with instruction or 20+ years of experience in instruction with an intelligence customer in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
-4+ years of experience as an instructor
-Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a USG agency
-BS degree in Aeronautical Science, Commercial Aviation, Flight, Flight Education, Flight Science, Professional Flight, Professional Flight Technology, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Air Traffic Management, or another related degree that includes actual or simulated experience mandated with the curriculum and domestic and international air navigation principles and airspace and airfield infrastructure and operations
-Course Instruction or Teaching Certification
-Previous coursework in Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Studies, Geospatial Information Systems, Global Security and Intelligence, Cartography, Homeland Security, or other areas related to aeronautical navigation and operations
