Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Employ instructional technology in instruction and training, including Blackboard. Conduct assessment strategies in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, grading, and providing formal and informal student feedback. Apply subject matter expertise throughout the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Teach instructional courses and apply experience with developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations. Leverage experience with GEOINT sciences, technology, and data science.
-Experience in a government operating environment in the intelligence community (IC)
-Experience as an instructor or trainer
-Knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and learning
-Knowledge of the application of GIS and analysis of geospatial data to solve intelligence problems that may face the DoD or the IC
-Knowledge of the principles and applications of imagery interpretation, digital image processing systems, collections, and sensor phenomenology.
-Ability to travel up to 50%
-TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam
-BA or BS degree and 5 years of experience in a professional or military environment, MA or MS degree and 3 years of experience in a professional or military environment, or HS diploma or GED and 20 years of experience in a professional or military environment
-Experience as an in-resident and distance learning instructor for a USG agency
-MA or MS degree in Science or a related technical field
-Course Instruction or Teaching Certification
