C-IED/Asymmetric Warfare TrainerKey Role:
Serve as a counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED) and asymmetric warfare (AW) courseware developer and trainer. Support training readiness authority (TRA) by developing individual and collective C-IED or AW training strategies, incorporating multiple non-standard and non-program of record C-IED or AW equipment and training resources. Coordinate with garrisons to improve C-IED or AW training facilities and ranges. Employ training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations (TADSS) into training scenarios. Execute specialized C-IED or AW education and training for defeat the device (DTD), homemade explosives (HMEs), and route clearance. Synchronize arrival, sustainment, and prioritization for standard and non-standard C-IED or AW equipment and training resources. Facilitate the integration of current IED threats with planning of virtual and live C-IED or AW training across multiple sites and provide continuity and expertise that enables awareness and effective use of assets to support C-IED training.
-4+ years of experience with C-IED defeat the device line of effort
-3+ years of experience with training handheld detectors
-2+ years of experience with mounted and dismounted route clearance operations
-HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience with C-IED defeat the device line of effort, AA or AS degree and 7+ years experiences with C-IED defeat the device line of effort, or BA or BS degree
-Training Certifications in Handheld Detectors and Mounted and Dismounted Route Clearance Operations
-Experience with USEUCOM theater of operations
-Experience in a combat or combat advisor role
-Experience with the US Army
-Experience with US Service combat training center preferred
-Possession of excellent public speaking and writing skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
