Agile CoachThe Challenge:
Are you an experienced Agile Coach with a passion for leading, mentoring and coaching software development teams to embrace or increase their agility? Are you looking for an opportunity to lead Agile adoption and transformation within a software development organization?
As a Agile Coach, you’ll lead, coach, educate, mentor, and provide guidance to the development team, product owners, and project manager as they seek Agile adoption and transformation within their organization. You’ll lead the evaluation and implementation of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Scrum of Scrums, and SAFe and team processes to facilitate organizational change. You’ll evaluate and design strategies for organizational adoption of Agile at all stages, from introduction, to employee training, to process definition and tool selection. You’ll train and educate employees at all levels on Agile principles and practices, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to assist with Agile implementation within the team. You’ll mentor members of the development team, product owners, and project management into their Agile roles, including Scrum Masters. Product Owners, etc., providing guidance, instruction, and support as they develop the skills needed to foster a healthy Agile environment. You’ll collaborate with project management leadership, product ownership, and the team to ensure alignment of execution and strategy. You’ll ensure Agile metrics are being tracked and monitored and assist teams with implementing solutions to potential problems.

-5+ years of experience in working with the Agile framework in Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
-3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach
-Experience with software development and product ship cycles, including Scrum and Agile development techniques
-Experience with facilitating Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives
-Experience with training or teaching of Agile principles and practices
-Experience with release planning and tracking and Agile using test-driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration environments
-Ability to recognize and perform timely impediment recognition and escalation, and display business judgment and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff
-Ability to ensure the product owner knows how to arrange the product backlog to maximize value and teach techniques for effective product backlog management
-BA or BS degree

-Experience with government contracts

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team building skills
-Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
