Description:This candidate will be part of a multi-instructor workforce for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) serving our International customers and will be part of a Waterfront and Schoolhouse Teaching Cadre as a SPY Radar System Technician and Operator. Responsible for the development and implementation of updates to AEGIS curriculum training products. Additionally, the position requires the ability for development of new curriculum and modifying existing curriculum. The candidate must be able to conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) events as a presenter/instructor, presenting instruction and pilot monitoring, providing difference training at shore sites and aboard ship, and providing follow up technical assistance. The candidate will also be required to interface with a diverse workforce including program management, engineers, customers, and other contractors. International travel is required for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong Aegis technical and operations background as a SPY Radar Technician and Radar Set Controller (RSC)
- Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Operations experience
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with customers
- Demonstrated ability to work in the team environment and individual
- This position requires an active Secret clearance to be considered.
Desired Skills:
- Naval Training Environment experience
- Master Training Specialist
